I’ve always said that it isn’t really summer without homegrown deep red ripe tomatoes. So here’s an idea for a pizza of sorts. Slice a big round tomato, top with some pesto sauce, turkey pepperoni and mozzarella cheese. Broil in the toaster oven or regular oven till brown and bubbly. mmmmm…… Between the pepperoni and cheese there are 11 grams of protein here.
